A rural hospital goes above and beyond to guarantee self improvement.
Miller County Hospital is now accredited.
They will be assessed on direct patient care, dietary and environmental services by DNV Healthcare.
The hospital's C.E.O Robin Rau says because they're a small, rural hospital, they chose an agency that does annual assessments.
"Well really for patient care, it signifies that we are really always critiquing our services, and we're trying to advance the level of care and we're always doing some form or self assessment," Rau said.
DNV healthcare was recently signed into compliance by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid services.
