McCAYSVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- A small earthquake has rattled North Georgia near the border of Tennessee and North Carolina. The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the 2.5-magnitude tremor happened just after midnight Saturday. The epicenter was calculated to be at McCaysville. No damage was reported.

FORT BENNING, Ga. (AP) -- An Army brigade has returned to Georgia after a nine-month deployment to Afghanistan. Family and friends gathered Saturday at Lawson Army Airfield to welcome home the 648th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade to Fort Benning.
