ATLANTA (AP) -- Police are searching for the person who opened fire on an Atlanta woman in a drive-by shooting. WGCL-TV reports the shooting happened Friday night in southeast Atlanta. The woman said she was sitting on a back porch with a friend and saw a green minivan drive past several times. That van stopped near her driveway and someone opened fire.

ATLANTA (AP) -- The Georgia World Congress Center Authority plans to vote Monday on the framework for a possible deal to build a new stadium for the Atlanta Falcons. An agenda for the meeting Monday shows the authority will consider a nonbinding agreement covering terms negotiated with the Falcons.

TUCKER, Ga. (AP) -- Police have pressed criminal charges against two parents accused of bringing their daughter to fight another student at a bus stop. WSB-TV reports a video posted on the Internet shows Timothy Taylor bringing his daughter, a student at Tucker Middle School, to fight another student. A neighbor broke up the fight.
