Owning a car in Georgia will cost you more than in other states.
According to bankrate.com, Georgia is the nation’s most expensive state to own a car.
Georgia drivers spend about $4,200 a year to operate a car; that is double what it costs drivers in the cheapest state. It is also higher than the national average of $3,200.
