Ga. GOP Sets Ballot for Presidential Primary

ATLANTA (AP) -- Ten Republicans will be on the ballot in Georgia
for the state's presidential preference primary.
The Georgia Republican Party has submitted a letter indicating
the candidates whose names will appear on the March 6 ballot. They
are: Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman,
Gary Johnson, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Buddy Roemer, Mitt Romney and
Rick Santorum.
State Democratic Party officials have already submitted Barack
Obama's name to Georgia's secretary of state. The president is
seeking a second term and is not facing primary opposition.
Georgia election law requires the secretary of state's office to
publish the lists of each party's candidates on its website during
the fourth week immediately preceding the date on which the
presidential preference primary is to be held.
