DUBLIN, Ga. (AP) -- A Georgia girl asked people celebrating her second birthday not to give her any gifts. Instead, Jovi Van Norman asked for bottled water to donate to the Central Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross.

The result was cases of water stacked higher than the 2-year-old. Emergency services associate Peggy Bentz told The Courier-Herald in Dublin that the request resulted in 623 bottles of water for the Red Cross.

Bentz says it's a proud moment when somebody that small wants to be part of something so big.

Bentz says there is still a need for more bottled water, as well as power drinks, and nonperishable food.
