ATLANTA (AP) -- Presidential candidates are making a push in Georgia ahead of next week's Super Tuesday primary in what's been a turbulent Republican race.
Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum will start Thursday at a town hall-style meeting in Dalton, then head south to Atlanta.
Former Georgia Congressman Newt Gingrich has been campaigning in Georgia all week, hoping that a victory in his old home state will break his losing streak. He's scheduled to speak Thursday before the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, at the opening of a Cherokee County Republican office and at a rally in Macon.
The wife of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney will attend at a meet-and-greet in Alpharetta, and then headline the grand opening of her husband's Georgia campaign headquarters in Atlanta.
