The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced today that Double Red Flags have been posted along the unincorporated areas of the beaches in Bay County due to extremely dangerous swimming conditions.
Rip currents have been identified in certain areas.
These dangerous conditions are expected to continue today, Wednesday, and possibly Thursday.
The posting of Double Red Flags means it is illegal for swimmers to enter the water.
