Donalsonville Man Arrested for Felony Theft in Dothan

DOTHAN, AL - On October 26, 2012 the Dothan Police Department cancelled a wanted status for a man with active warrants for three felonies. Police say between September 4 and September 7 (2012) Brian Taylor fraudulently obtained a large amount of copper and wiring from a Dothan company. The investigation revealed Taylor did this on three separate occasions by giving a false name and employee status in order to charge the items to another business. Police were able to identify and sign warrants for Taylor’s arrest on October 22, 2012. On October 26, 2012 Taylor was arrested by authorities in Seminole County, Georgia then extradited to Houston County bringing the case to a close.

•Brian Taylor, white male, 31 years of age, of Donalsonville, Georgia was arrested and charged with two counts of Second Degree Theft and one count of First Degree Theft of Property with bonds totaling $60,000. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
