Crews Demolish Meth House Where 3 Children Died

LILBURN, Ga. (AP) -- Crew members have demolished a home after three children died in a fire last year stemming from a suspected meth operation.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that crews knocked down the home Wednesday morning and expect to clear the area the next day.

Police believe at least one of the three suspects was cooking meth when the blaze occurred.

The children who died in the Feb. 17, 2011 fire were 4-year-old Issac Guevara, 3-year-old Ivan Guevara and 18-month-old Stacy Brito.

Neibi Brito, the 23-year-old mother of the deceased children, was charged with three counts of felony murder and one count of trafficking methamphetamine.

Joseph A. Perez, who was arrested six days after the fire, faces the same charges as Brito. Police are still searching for the third suspect, Ivan Gonzalez.
