Colquitt Woman Killed in Workplace Accident at Georgia Pacific

A Colquitt woman was killed in an accident at Georgia Pacific early Friday morning.

Early County Coroner Todd Hunter identified the victim as 63-year-old Lydia Faircloth. Hunter says she was getting off work when she was hit by a clamp truck.

Faircloth worked at Georgia Pacific for 35 years.

The Occupational Safety & Health Administration, or OSHA, is investigating the accident.

Georgia Pacific is located in Cedar Springs, Georgia.
