Atlanta Building Dedicated in Honor of King Sr.

ATLANTA (AP) -- A new building in Atlanta will be dedicated to Martin Luther King Sr., the father of famed civil rights leader.

The Ebenezer Baptist Church where the elder King preached will dedicate the new Martin Luther King Sr. Community Resources Complex in his honor during events Sunday.

Former Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young is scheduled to deliver a sermon for the occasion.

Church officials say the building is the only global tribute to the man who helped guide his son into a pioneering civil rights leader.
