CORDELE, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities in south Georgia have identified a 5-year-old boy who drowned in a private pond in Crisp County.
Crisp County Chief Deputy Billy Hancock tells WMAZ-TV Sedarious Craig Savage, of Cordele, drowned Monday afternoon while playing in the water with his cousin.
Authorities say a team of divers searched the pond for about 10 minutes and found the boy between 20 and 30 feet from the pond's edge.
