COLLEGE PARK, Ga. (AP) - Fulton County school officials say a
6-year-old kindergartner came to school with a loaded handgun.
School spokeswoman Susan Hale says the boy showed off the gun to
a classmate at Heritage Elementary School in College Park, and that
the classmate told a staff member.
Administrators confiscated the gun, which Hale described as a small handgun.

Hale says the boy will be out of school at least until he and his parents appear before a school system tribunal, which will be held in seven to 10 days.
