ATLANTA (AP) - Lisa Ann Taylor, who is on probation after
pleading guilty to prostitution and drug charges after being
accused of running a brothel out of her home in an exclusive
neighborhood, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

The 44-year-old Taylor, who tends bar and dances at a club in
Atlanta, filed for bankruptcy this week, saying she is between
$500,000 and $1 million in debt.

Taylor pleaded guilty in October 2007 to charges that she ran a
brothel in Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth.

Her attorney, Michael Famiglietti, says Taylor is trying to get a fresh start.

In addition to seven years probation, she was ordered to pay a $150,000 fine and was granted an extension to pay it.

Famiglietti says he may seek another extension.
