ATLANTA (AP) - Flood advisories are still remaining in some
parts of Georgia as rivers and creeks continue to swell with runoff
from heavy rainfall.

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City issued flood
warnings Sunday for parts of the Ocmulgee River near Hawkinsville
and Abbeville, affecting Bleckley, Pulaski, Dodge, Telfair and
Wilcox counties.

Meteorologist Rob Handel said some warnings for areas near small
creeks and streams have been canceled but people living in low
lying areas near bigger rivers like the Ocmulgee and Flint should
be cautious.

He said more rainfall is anticipated beginning Tuesday and the
larger rivers are expected to continue rising.
