BUTLER, Ga. (AP) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation continues to probe the death of a 20-year-old man found dumped in a trash bin 90 miles from his home.
Rodney Wall, special agent in charge of the GBI office in
Columbus, said Monday that autopsy results are incomplete but the death of LeShon Douglas Jr. of Snellville in metro Atlanta "is
being investigated as a homicide."
Douglas was found by a waste collector on Ga. 137 in Butler,
between Columbus and Macon, about noon Wednesday. Taylor County Coroner Gary Lowe says he had been in the trash bin about 10 hours.
Wall says the cause of death has not been established.
Toxicology and other tests are pending.
