GBI probes for clues in Snellville man's death

BUTLER, Ga. (AP) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation had few immediate clues in the death of a 20-year-old Snellville man whose body was found in a trash bin in Taylor County.

Coroner Gary Lowe says the body of LeShon Douglas Jr. had been in the trash bin about 10 hours before a waste collector found it about noon Wednesday.

The trash bin was on Ga. 137 south of Atlanta between Columbus and Macon.

LeShon Douglas Sr. of Marietta says his son loved music and theater.

He played tuba in the marching band at Pebblebrook High School in Mableton.

His son had moved in with his mother in Snellville about a week ago, and was attending a school to become a hair stylist.

Authorities await crime lab tests to determine the cause of death.
