BUFORD, Ga. (AP) - Gwinnett County police say a 2-year-old
drowned after falling into the swimming pool of a woman taking care
of children in her home.
Preliminary investigation indicates that 34-year-old Tanga Sheri
Moon temporarily left the room where four children, 2 to 9, were
playing Thursday afternoon.
When she returned, one notified her that the boy, identified as Abiola Bankolemoh, had gone out the rear door and fell into the pool.
Police say Moon jumped in, found the child lying at the bottom,
pulled him out and began CPR.
Emergency workers continued CPR but the child was pronounced dead at the hospital.
