A winter storm brought snow flurries to west-central Georgia, but no major accumulations were expected.
National Weather Service meteorologist Matt Sena in Peachtree City says the snow fell early Sunday from Columbus northward as the storm moved in from Alabama.
Sena says accumulations of about one inch could occur in west and central Georgia. It's not expected to cause major problems because the ground is too warm for the snow to stick.
