2 Atlanta cops accused of sexual assault

ATLANTA, Ga. (AP) - Two Atlanta police officers have been accused of having sexual contact with a woman.

Atlanta Police Major Lane Hagin said the allegations against the officers are being investigated by the department's internal affairs unit.

According to Hagin, the alleged incident occurred Feb. 6.

The officers, whose names were withheld, have not been charged. Both were placed on administrative duty pending the outcome of the investigation.
