Athens Man Held in Shooting Deaths of 3 Siblings

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - Police have charged a 52-year-old man with
killing three of his siblings in the Athens trailer park where the family lives.

Athens-Clarke Police Lt. Mike McKeel says John David Latimer has
been charged with three counts of murder for the Tuesday shooting
deaths of 49-year-old Thomas G. Latimer, 57-year-old Janice Carol
Patterson and 61-year-old Sara Kathleen Tatum. McKeel said police
are investigating the shootings and have no motive.

Police say a neighbor alerted officers to the shootings, which happened about 6 p.m. When police arrived at the home, the three
siblings were found dead in different rooms of the mobile home.

John Latimer is being held without bond at the Clarke County Jail.
