DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - DeKalb County's "theme" schools have
entered the digital age.
Parents can now apply online for their children to attend one of
the district's six schools that have a specific academic focus,
such as technology or science. The schools are for elementary and
middle school students.
Any student who lives in the county is eligible to attend.
Enrollment continues online through Feb. 12.
The DeKalb County school system is in suburban Atlanta and has
about 100,000 students.
