Atlanta couple questions 911 after house burns to ground

ATLANTA (AP) - A Grant Park couple whose home burned to the
ground wants answers after they say it took at least 25 minutes for
firefighters to arrive.

No one was hurt in the Saturday night blaze.

Wilford Reed says his wife called Fulton County 911 twice but
was put on hold for nearly three minutes. Another neighbor ran to a
nearby police precinct and told an officer, who called for help on
his radio.

Fire officials arrived five minutes later.

In August, a Johns Creek woman died after county 911 dispatchers
sent emergency crews to the wrong part of the city.
