SNELLVILLE, Ga. (AP) - An 88-year-old great-grandmother has been
found stabbed to death in her Snellville home.
Police Chief Roy Whitehead says investigators have not been able
to establish a motive in the slaying of Beuluh Gotwait. Her body
was found Sunday with a bloody pillow over her face and multiple
stab wounds to her body.
Authorities say Gotwait lived with her daughter, son-in-law and
Whitehead says there was no indication of forced entry into the
Police Capt. H.O. Thomas says authorities have identified
several people of interest, but wouldn't say who they are.
Thomas says police have located several weapons capable of
causing Gotwalt's wounds but are awaiting tests to determine if
they've found the right one.
