Deputies Make $1 Million Traffic Stop

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Gwinnett County deputies found more
than $1 million in cash in a car they had stopped for a traffic
violation.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Stacey Bourbonnais said Santiago
Valdovinos-Moreno was stopped Friday after deputies noticed he was
swerving in and out of lanes. While speaking to him, Valdovinos-Moreno allegedly pushed a deputy and fled on foot. He was captured and charged with obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

The deputies then searched the vehicle and found the money, which was seized, in a duffel bag.
