Suspects in fatal Georgia arrested in South Carolina

BEAUFORT, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say three men suspected in a
Georgia home invasion that left two people dead and wounded a third have been arrested in South Carolina.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office says deputies arrested
23-year-old Robert Robinson, 20-year-old Lance Thomas Jr. and
20-year-old Jarrell Washington on St. Helena Island on Thursday.

The three remained in the Beaufort County jail on Friday as
fugitives, awaiting extradition to Georgia.

The men are suspects in a home invasion early Wednesday in
Carrollton, Ga.

No one at the Carrollton Police Department was
available to talk about the case.

The Beaufort Gazette reports that Thomas and Washington were
arrested when a deputy pulled them over. Robinson fled but was
arrested later at a nearby gas station.
