ATLANTA (AP) - A 43-year-old Atlanta woman has been booked on
first-degree arson charges for setting a fire at St. Joseph's Hospital.
State Insurance and Fire Safety Commissioner John Oxendine said
the charges stem from a Dec. 11 blaze that caused an estimated
$25,000 in damage to the hospital.
Oxendine said Sonia Strong, a resident of East Atlanta, was arrested Friday when she returned to the hospital to seek treatment for an injury.
Strong was placed in the Fulton County Jail without bond.
