PERRY, Ga. (AP) - A 24-year-old woman is dead after police say she led officers on a high-speed chase that ended when she was struck by another vehicle in Houston County Tuesday.
Peach County police responded to a call of an erratic driver just before 2:16 p.m. along Sledge Road.
When they attempted to pull over Sarah Waller, of Bonaire, they
say she sped off in a Ford pickup truck.
Officers pursued the woman but later lost her. She crossed into Houston County where police say she was sideswiped by one vehicle
and run over by another after she was ejected from her car.
Drivers in the other two vehicles were not seriously injured.
