SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - A suspect wanted in a Savannah murder case
has been captured in New York City by federal marshals.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, 19-year-old Devon
Emanuel Richardson was arrested Tuesday in Manhattan. Authorities
said Richardson surrendered without a struggle.
Richardson was wanted in connection with the Nov. 16 shooting
death of 24-year-old Carl Romell Joyner. Savannah-Chatham Police
said the victim was gunned down on a city street.
Richardson awaits extradition to Georgia.
