SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Police have captured a man who is suspected
in the April killing of his 18-year-old brother.
Police had been searching for 23-year-old Achmed Kiwaan Williams
for four months.
Savannah-Chatham County police finally tracked him down Tuesday at a home where he was hiding and arrested him for the April 6 shooting death of his brother, Alex Williams.
Police detective Roy Ricardo said the brothers had a fight that ended in Achmed Williams shooting his sibling and fleeing the scene.
The teenager died later at the hospital.
According to Chatham County Superior Court records, Achmed Williams has been in and out of trouble.
In the past, he's faced charges of loitering, trespassing, marijuana possession, gambling and obstruction.
