Ex-jailer in custody in woman's slaying

ALBANY, Ga. (AP) - A fired Dougherty County jailer wanted in a
fatal stabbing is behind bars.

Albany Police said 35-year-old Allen Robinson Jr., was taken
into custody late Wednesday night during a traffic stop.

He was sought in Wednesday afternoon's stabbing death of his
former girlfriend.

Authorities said 30-year-old Rashanda Dowdell was pulled from
her car in a shopping center parking lot and stabbed to death in
front of horrified witnesses.

Robinson faces an array of criminal charges including felony murder, aggravated stalking and kidnapping.
