ROCKMART, Ga. (AP) - A 33-year-old man has plans to travel the world and help his parents retire after winning a $42-million Mega Millions jackpot this week.
Mark Staffa, is software engineer, who claimed his winnings at a ceremony Wednesday in Atlanta.
The drawing was Tuesday night and Staffa discovered that all his numbers matched Wednesday morning while checking the Mega Millions Web site.
A lifelong LEGO builder, Denmark, where LEGO was founded, is at
the top of Staffa's list for travel plans.
Scott's Market in Dallas, where Staffa bought the ticket, will receive a $25,000 retailer incentive bonus payment.
