PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. (AP) - Helping the homeless build life skills
for self sufficiency is among the subjects activists will explore
this week at a conference on eliminating problems facing the
homeless.

The Georgia Coalition To End Homelessness conference runs
Wednesday through Friday at Callaway Gardens Resort.

The coalition's purpose is to bring together activists for round table discussions on emerging issues among the homeless and strategies on ways to combat new homeless communities.

Workshop subjects will include helping homeless veterans return to the workforce and addressing the burgeoning problem of homelessness among aging baby boomers.
