RIVERDALE, Ga. (AP) - Police said robbers fatally shot the owner
of a Riverdale video store but said the store was likely a front
for an illegal activity.

Police said Monday that unidentified suspects posing as Alcohol,
Tobacco and Firearms agents killed 54-year-old Souppoth

Thannavongsa a little after 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Riverdale police Chief Samuel Patterson said the suspects yelled

"ATF! Get down!" and all the people involved in the illegal activity got
down.

Patterson said the men then robbed the more than 20 people in the back
room.

Then, witnesses said, one of the suspects shot the owner in the back
of the neck.

Auhtorities are saying the case is very complicated, and the store
didn't seem to sell or rent many videos.

Riverdale authorities say the store made most of its money through
illegal activity in the back room.
