Hit-and-Run Driver Kills 35 year-old Woman

FORSYTH, Ga. (AP) - Authorities in Monroe County say a 35-year-old woman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver.

Sheriff's investigators said it happened early Sunday on a southbound entrance ramp to Interstate 75 at Johnstonville Road.

The victim was identified as Tonya Teresa Chapman of Monroe County.

Authorities believe the hit-and-run accident occurred between 12:45 a.m. and 1:30 a.m.
