SAINT MARYS, Ga.(AP) - Authorities are looking for two brothers who escaped from a sheriff's office in southeast Georgia.
Nineteen-year-old Justin Kyle McIlrath and 22-year-old Matthew Robert McIlrath escaped from the Camden County Sheriff's Office substation at Saint Marys on Saturday.
Lt. William Terrell says the men cut through a fence using bolt cutters shortly after the last head count. Both men from Kingsland are charged with burglary and criminal interference with government property. Justin McIlrath also is charged with probation violation.
Terrell said Monday authorities have interviewed the men's family and are following leads.
Authorities are asking people with information on the McIlrath brothers to call the Camden County Sheriff's Office at (912) 510-5121 or (912) 729-1442.
