FBI Looking for Fayetteville Bank Robber

ATLANTA (AP) - The FBI is asking for public assistance in locating a bank robber who held up a Fayetteville bank at gunpoint.

The agent in charge in Atlanta, Gregory Jones, says the robber entered the RBC Centura Bank just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, carrying a Tec 9 machine pistol and wearing a white tennis-style visor, fake buck teeth and a wig, with a beard drawn on his face with makeup.

He demanded money and took two bank employees into the fault area where he got an undisclosed amount before leaving, possibly in a small white vehicle.

The robber is believed to be in his mid to late 20s, about 5-foot-8 and weighing 200-210 pounds.

An unspecified reward is offered for information leading to arrest. FBI Atlanta (404) 679-9000
