Red Cross Sends Help to NC Ahead of Hurricane

SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - The American Red Cross in Savannah is sending four volunteers and two emergency response vehicles to North Carolina to assist in case Hurricane Earl causes trouble.

The volunteers will first head to Raleigh, N.C., then get instructions from there. Earl has been expected to reach the North Carolina coast late
Thursday and wheel to the northeast.
