Grains futures mostly rise, livestock prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose in early trading Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 5.75 cents to $6.4550 a bushel; May corn rose 1.75 cent to $6.3250 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at $3.40 a bushel; while May soybeans rose 6.25 cents to $13.76 a bushel.

Beef futures and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle fell 1.53 cent to $1.2407 a pound; May feeder cattle fell 1.47 cent to $1.5360 a pound; while June lean hogs fell 1.02 cent to 92.70 cents a pound.
