Cotton Futures Up

NEW YORK (AP) - Cotton futures No. 2 closed $1.40 to $20.00 a
bale higher Thursday.

The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot
cotton advanced 400 points to 131.57 cents a pound Thursday for the
seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
