NEW YORK (AP) - Cotton futures No. 2 closed 65 cents to $3.00 a bale lower Wednesday.

The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot
cotton declined 30 points to 84.01 cents a pound Wednesday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
