He found the business owner and learned the owner sometimes hires a homeless man to hand out the fliers to earn some money. The deputy located the homeless person to ask him about the encounter with the child. He told the deputy he never goes up on porches. He just puts the fliers on cars. He said he did wave at the child and say hello and didn't mean to alarm him. The deputy says after questioning the man, it appears to be an innocent contact and this information was entered into the case file. The case has been closed. Thank you to the woman who responded so that deputies could get the information they needed on this.
