Crime Stoppers Reward offered in Waffle House Robbery

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is working to track down a man who robbed the Waffle House located at 2060 W. Highway 98 in Mary Esther shortly after midnight this morning.

Three employees and one customer were in the business when a white male wearing a “worn” looking blue or grey hoodie and jeans approached the cash register and handed the clerk a note demanding money. The suspect then fled east behind the building with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robber is described as a white male between 5’10”-6’ tall, 180-200 pounds with a chubby face and dark hair and dark facial hair.

Anybody with information about this incident may possibly become eligible for a cash reward of UP TO $1,000 by contacting Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at 863-TIPS (863-8477), or toll-free at 1-888-654-TIPS.
