Marianna Police have arrested Lanita Daree Patrick of Bascom, FL, on a charge of passing a forged or altered prescription
On 01/18/2013, Officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to Winn-Dixie Pharmacy in reference to a suspected forged prescription that was being passed. After checking with the doctor it was found that the prescriptions were indeed fraudulent and that the doctor had not ordered the prescription. When Patrick arrived at the pharmacy and attempted to retrieve the prescriptions she was taken into custody without incident. Patrick later admitted to calling in the prescriptions herself posing as a representative of the doctor’s office. Patrick was transported to JCCF to await first appearance.
