Circuit Judge Shonna Gay has sentenced a Wewahitchka FL woman to 25 years in prison.
On Thursday, April 25 Esther Jean Wilson, 53, of was brought to trail after she was accused for shooting her boyfriend in the mouth.
Assistant State Attorney Bob Pell took Wilson to trial on March 22 and showed jurors that she shot Walter L. Wright Jr. during an argument Feb. 5, 2012.
At the trial, Wright refused to testify at the trial, however, jurors still found Wilson guilty as charged of aggravated battery with a firearm causing great bodily harm.
Wilson was charged under the state’s 10-20-Life law and is not eligible for early release from prison for good behavior.
