The Bay County Sheriff’s Office today released several images of a man believed responsible for three robberies committed between 7:30 pm Wednesday evening, September 26, and Thursday morning, September 27, at 4:00 am. Investigators are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect.
At about 7:30 on Wednesday evening, BCSO deputies responded to a call in reference to a robbery at 1219 Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach. The victim stated he noticed a man in a dark colored truck following him home earlier in the evening from the AM Vets on Front Beach Road. When the victim arrived home and went inside, the man knocked on the door. When the victim answered the door he saw a man, about 5’10” and 200 pounds, wearing dark clothing and a bandana on his head and face. The suspect appeared to be pointing something at the victim and demanded the victim “give me your money”. The victim gave the man some cash and he left.
The victim stated the suspect drove a full sized dark colored truck.
At 11:30 pm on September 26, deputies were called to Condom Knowledge at 7510 Thomas Drive. Two employees told deputies a man in all black clothing and wearing a bandana on his face and head had entered the store and pointed a leather holster at them, demanding they open the register and give him money. The two employees never saw a gun but believed the suspect may have had one in the holster. They also told deputies the suspect wore pink gloves. The suspect took money from the register and left.
