Freeport, FLA – Feb. 28, 2013 | Walton County Habitat for Humanity will dedicate their 25th home this Saturday, March 2nd at 9 a.m. in Freeport to widow and single mother of two, Teresa Shultz, and is inviting the local community and media to join in on this celebratory moment.
Shultz had previously dedicated 64 volunteer hours into Habitat’s 24th home for a fellow family, when she, too, learned she and her family qualified for the Habitat program.
“Teresa is one of the most dedicated partner families we have ever had,” says Teresa Imdieke, Executive Director of Walton County Habitat for Humanity. “She worked side-by-side our volunteers on her home every Saturday and often during the week.”
Walton County Habitat for Humanity received $63,000 to build this home courtesy of last year’s Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF). Executive Director, John Russell, and Charity Relations Chair, Bob Gelardi, are scheduled to be in attendance for Saturday’s dedication.
The dedication will take place at:
5064 County Road 3280
Freeport, FL 32439
“Habitat for Humanity is truly blessed to have her join our family,” sums up Imdieke.
