Heavy, slow-moving rains could produce high rainfall totals across parts of Walton County in the panhandle of Florida.
The National Weather Service office in Tallahassee has issued an Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Walton County. This runs until 2:15am Central time.
Forecasters "detected an area of strong and slow moving thunderstorms" that were producing rain at a rate of an inch of hour. At that speed, some places in Walton County could see 3 or more inches of rain over the next couple of hours.
Remember, if you can't judge the depth of water--don't walk or drive in it!
