Tyndall Air Force Base is hosting the annual tree lighting ceremony Wednesday Nov. 5 in Flag Park at 5 p.m.
A tradition that has been carried on for years, the lighting of the tree marks the beginning of the holiday season.
The Tyndall Youth Center Choir will lead the audience in a round of holiday songs.
Santa Claus will visit and give out treats to the youth and all attendees can enjoy hot chocolate and cookies.
